As former CEO of Centerpoint Medical Center of Independence, LLC, Bret led transformational growth initiatives focused on culture, physician engagement, quality improvement, trauma expansion, graduate medical education, and long-term healthcare access throughout Eastern Jackson County.
Following a successful healthcare executive career, Bret stepped away for a year-long sabbatical that inspired his new book, Wisdom That Leads to Soul Rest. The book explores practical wisdom, intentional rest, leadership growth, and creating stronger relationships through purposeful reflection and renewal.
